How can I talk more or what do I say to my coworkers at my new job?

I just started a new job yesterday at a pizza place and I feel so weird there, like a ninth grader entering high school. Like I'm a nuisance that knows nothing. The workers treat each other like family but I feel like I'm almost left out, and it makes the atmosphere very awkward. How can I talk more to them and feel comfortable? What can I talk to them about? Thanks.
