How much can I expect to get for a 1904 @ 1/2 dollar gold coin in almost unc condition?

I also have Morgan dollars, Peace dollars, Walking Liberties and mercury dimes all in good to VG condition. How should I sell them--in bulk or a little at a time? To a coin dealer or road dealer? Any input as to how to get the most money without getting ripped off would be helpful. I'm not interested in devoting the rest of my life in numismatics. I live in the San Francisco area.
