Could I be sued for nuisance?

My daughter uses the swing set in our backyard maybe once a day to relax after school. About fifteen feet from the swing set is our neighbor's fence. Recently, our neighbor complained to us that the swing was squeaking, and demanded that my daughter go back inside until the problem was solved. Are they allowed to make such demands? Also, would they be able to sue us for nuisance?
