Thing is, you haven't really left much for him to talk about, have you? If you've already decided that there's someone better out there and this was a mistake, then you might as well just skip ahead to the divorce proceedings. I know you're in pain and need to vent, but if you honestly want to make a last-ditch effort at fixing this, then ask yourself what you'd like to see changed beyond just talking and try and frame that in a way that he can actually take steps to accomplish or discuss with you if he has any kind of investment in making things work instead of just listing all the things that are wrong.
