How to wash something that is Sticky!?

Today, i received a coin with a sticky back. It was supposed to stick to any surface FOREVEr. As a test i stuck it half onto my table, but i was able to pull it off. Now it is not sticky anymore. How can i clean it without it becoming Unsticky?
